So im not sure where to put this. I guess im asking tech related.

anyhow im selling my car for moneys and a 1992 bravada. not sure of miles. kid couldn't come up with 1000 of my asking price so i asked for the bravada he had and he agreed. anyhow the bravada was not initially apart of the deal. and im getting it no matter what. runs fine looks fine drives fine accept 2 things. something wrong with the heater. and general alignment needs fixed. back story done now on to tech part.

Im new to the blazer s-10. i want this truck to sell (not worth much probably) commute with it and take it off roading. my initial thoughts on this blazer is that the smart trec is probably worthless. what do you guys think of the bravada. pros and cons?

Nothing to loose i just want to know more about the tech issues that these trucks have in general. things to watch out for generation specific or make specific would be great. and if anyone has info about how well the smart trec AWD holds up to abuse please don't be shy.

straight forward i will probably drive this truck to work 3 days a week and will probably wheel it. our definitions of wheeling are relative so assume i would be following a big blazer k5 (stock) places. If you require more info from me to help you answer my questions, im happy to oblige. also it has 4.6l non vortech, Z code in vin.

The display looks to be aftermarket.

The auto trac used in the early Bravada's was a dedicated 30/70 F/R split.

 

its completely digital.... never seen anything like it on a truck. reminds me of my gramas old cadi. cool and really ****ing annoying. i will post new pics of it and would like to know more about the car based on what im seeing. it will be more clear in the daylight. as of right now im the PROUD and uncertain owner of a pretty decent olds bravada 1992 non vortech.
