side note I talked to my buddy the previous owner and he told me that he replaced the fuel pump 3 TIMES it would run for about an hour or so but then he would try and fire it up and again same no start no idle every time he did it
Its supossed to be carbon black under the plenum, not clean. Clean means its leaking fuel and washing off the corbon buildup scroll down to post 9. newer truck but same idea. thats what it should not look like https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...h-smell-45052/

It was late last night when I typed that out and not sure why but I skipped over the fact that I noticed it being a little lighter under the regulator so I went ahead and replaced that and re checked all my spider injector connections and everything looked good put it all back together turned the key and still nothing however I could get it to attempt to start with a little intake cleaner

so if it will start with intake cleaner that proves its a fuel delivery problem. If the reg. is good and theres no leaks, go back to the pump. Even new pumps can be bad
