Default Broken remote...I am so lost without it!

Anyone ever have this problem before? The keyring snapped on my keyless entry, and I don't even have the door keys on my keyring anymore. This happened a few days ago and I've been putting my remote in my pocket, but I keep losing it. This isn't good. I don't want to have to use my keys to open my door, that's just retarded, LMAO!Why should I have to when I have a remote?

So....anyone have a bright idea on how I can remedy this situation?

What are the numbers on the back of it Rachel? That'll determine what you need to replace it with.

you could either replace it using the numbers on the back or you could try drilling a hole the size for a small keyring to fit in there and then put that keyring on your actual keyring. just a cheap thought.

So I'm assuming I can get this from the dealer? I dunno where else I could find one.

You could get it from the dealer but they will probably charge a bunch. You could try looking on ebay and then find out how to program them, if I recall it isn't to hard to reprogram them but not sure with how old Bob is, they have probably changed things on how to program them since he had remote locks.

It says in my sig...Bob is 13 years old. And I was afraid of that...I don't want to be charged an arm, leg, right butt cheek and my first born for a stinkin' remote. If that's the case I suppose what I'll have to do is buy a car alarm and use the remote from that. My husbands boss can get them wholesale for about $20 bucks.

If all you need is the case, then any one will do. You should be able to snap out the circuit board and the buttons and reuse them in a replacement case. They're available on eBay for ~$20...
