Hi new here....would post this in newbie area but do have some questions about a blazer that i am fixing to purchase. My boss selling his 1986 s10 blazer (tahoe?) v6 auto for $300. Runs good. It sat for a year, when i turned it on ((which took a couple of tries)) no smoke and no knock on the engine, which i believe is a good sign. Drove through the streets feels like the pedal is bit stiff, but once i put force on it it really flies! Anyways my question is about the towing capacity of this blazer? I did "search" on the forum and even google it but no luck. (( i only get info about V8's towing capacity)) If anyone can lead me or answer my question, i would much appreciated.

I've got the same setup...'86 Blazer with a 2.8...I've got one of those Canadian tire 4'x8' utility trailers that has a 1000lb. capacity and I've put about 1500lbs. in it with no problems. You won't be passing anyone on the hills but it seems to have lots of torque and the truck handles it pretty well.
