Default 89 S10 4.3L - Beefier Radiator?

Hi there.

I noticed the other day that the radiator I have is cooling the engine/coolant, oil, and auto transmission fluid. Not sure if this is a stock setup, but I find that things get moderately warm under load.

Since I have about 250k miles, a radiator upgrade might be in order, but I'm not sure if there is a performance radiator for this model.

Would prefer something that's relatively 'bolt on' and doesn't require a bunch of rework.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Mine has all of that too. Its a factory thing. These rads work fine. Just replace it if you feel like it needs it. Only upgrade id give it is a better trans cooler.

the factory cooling system is more than sufficient. Lots of radiators are setup this way, it will be ok

If it struggles I would suggest a rad flush

Yup, pour a bottle of CLR into that radiator, run it for half an hour, and flush it alll out. It will work good as new again.
