Default 93 s10 blazer driver side power lock switch

I have a bad power lock switch and have spent more time looking for the part than I wanted. I can only read the last 4 numbers off the switch ****2043 and have not been able to find anything by just searching make and model.

My next option would be to call the dealer.
If you notice my location.....nearest dealer is 200 miles....by air, so if I can order it on the internet its a bonus!

Neither of the Ebay switches work for a 1993 S10 Blazer....the Airtex 1S3520 says it does. Fit/style looks more like the other that says it does not. The only difference on the other for image reference is the switch isnt a rocker but a thumb lever type.
Thanks though.

been doing just this.....

I will call the dealer and see if they can find me a part #, I've scoured the internet and havent seen one yet.... I did find a 93 for parts also so crossing my fingers on that.

The lock switches are a pain in the rear to find. Try rockauto.com , advanceauto.com , or autozone.com. Good luck!

power is delivered to the door locks thru the Power Door Lock Relay....make sure thats good before going thru all the trouble with the switch....dealers don't carry any parts or a '93 anymore..(not where Iam at anyway) I wouldn't hesitate buying one at a yard or parts car....stout little switches....good luck with it.....

The Door lock switches for the 93' have been discontinued by GM.

I have a work around that just may work and involves using a new switch with the old hard ware if the switch I purchased does work out I will post back with photos and part numbers.

If you find one PM me Ill gladly reimburse you for your trouble.

What I got was a duralast sw3814

I am going to remove the rocker off this one and attempt to use the thumb lever and top cover off the old one. I see little difference in the actual switch assembly its only missing the ears that snap on to the plug. Worst case scenario is I come up with an alternative to finding one in a junk yard, but if it doesnt work...I hope you run across one just in case.

The below is the original switch with the top cover off.

I couldn't be sure on the Airtex 1S3520.

I did call a salvage yard in anchorage and they said come on down......I laughed...I only wish there was a road off the rock....

Yes, the bottom is straight off the Drivers side door. The top is the one I'm going to try to modify using the existing switch.
