Default 94 4wd front diff. actuator cable housing

Hey folks,
I was having issues w/ my 4wd and found out my front diff. actuator under the battery tray was bad. I replaced it and 4wd worked for a few weeks until the new actuator failed. They seem to be very poorly manufactured. Anyway, I purchased a manual engagement setup and need to remove the original cable from the front differential cable housing. The problem is that the cable fitting nut is rusted frozen in the housing. The housing is made of a plastic material and I'm afraid if I try to bust the nut free I'm going to crack the housing. I've soaked it with PB blaster w/ no luck. I'm looking to purchase a new housing if they are still available. I tried a few online GM parts places with no luck. Anyone have any idea of what the part number is for this part? Am I looking at hitting a local junkyard in hopes of finding an intact one? I don't want to force and break the old one until I have a new one in hand.

Just to be clear this is the cable housing on the front of the front differential. The cable runs from here up under the battery tray to the 4wd vaccuum actuator. It is held on w/ 3 bolts and has an electrical switch on top of it. If a picture would help let me know.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Rob

All of the 'posi-lock' setups I have ever seen do not replace the front cable, but connect to the front cable where the actuator originally connected.

Thanks for the reply. It must be a new design then. This one replaces the original cable and runs directly from the front differential into the cab. I finally did get it out.....well sort of. In trying to remove the nut I pulled the bushing in which it screws into out as well. With that out I heated up the bushing and nut with a torch until I was able to break it free. I pushed the bushing back into the housing and hopefully now I'm good to go.

The Posi-Lok system does replace the original cable and does away with the vacuum actuator
