I have a 94 s10 blazer. When I turn the truck on it seems to idle up and down, not at the same rpms. If I turn the steering wheel the engine sounds like its about to shut off and then idles back up again. Sometimes when I turn the steering wheel it does shut off though. If i Just start the truck up and put it in drive it sometimes stalls also. It always turns right back on though. If i let it run for about 15 min when i first start it then it runs fine. Lately though I could be out driving for 30 min or so in the truck and i see the battery meter or sometimes even the oil meter going up and down. When i give it gas the meters go up and when i goto a stop it seems like the engine is about to shut off, luckily it hasnt yet. The truck doesn't seem like it has any power loss either. It seems to accellerate fine. The truck has 162,000 miles. I owned it for 3 years now and have recently replaced the fuel pump, battery, and alternator. I plan on taking it to a mechanic since i probably wont know how to fix it myself. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be ? the cost? I just want to get an idea before taking it into a mechanic. I usually only drive the truck only if theres bad weather, so i dont wanna put to much money into it. Thanks for the help.
