Default brake Booster question

I have a question removing the booster seems pretty basic but how do I remove the push rod from the pedal.
Thanks for the help.

I see a small cotter pin where the two connect I assume I am supposed to pull that and it will free up the pushrod. tight quarters that's why Im wondering. Thanks

Default What the flip????

Ok, am I missing something here???? All four bolts on the inside of the cab have been removed I have the push rod off the brake pedal, the two bolts on the booster itself have been removed WHY wont the booster come loose? I have tried pulling it pushing it, love tapping it from the inside of the cab or the back side of the booster, this beast will not budge, am I missing something???? What a PITA.
On the other side of the coin people complain about the upper left bolt in the cab....I used two extensions and a swivel adapter and I was able to get it no problem....of course after getting frustrated over LOL
Thanks for the help.

just a thot - sometimes during assembely inside the cab there are little paper thin flat washers that thread on the studs to hold everything in place untill nuts are installed

Ok, booster is out new one is in place waiting to be secured in with bolts. Looking at the pedal and this is where I knew I would run into trouble. Can someone give me some direction with how this plate goes back into place. I know that the white and red button have to touch as is evedent by the contact points on the plate, but I cant get it to line up correctly without depressing the white button I believe it is.
Thanks David

if I am seeing right the plate in place should hold down both buttons
The buttons are normally held down until you press the the pedal

if i remember right the top hole in the plate goes over the booster rod on the rod pin and the second hole is bolted to the brake pedal - plate lines up to depress both switches at once - one is brake light and the other maybe the cruse control cancel switch
