Default Flywheel cracked?

I searched the forums, but have not found a solid answer because the thread is closed with no solution? I found this video on YouTube and this is EXACTLY what my truck is doing now. Sounds like the valve train, and you would swear by it, but when you get down to the torque converter......

Any ideas? Cracked flywheel?

I had it happen on a 305
Starter began giving me issues with engagement
The flywheel had cracked all the way around the crank bolts and then started spidering out towards the teeth

If you unbolt the torque converter it may move away from the flywheel enough to get a better look or you may be able to move the outer edge of the ring gear

This isn't my truck. It's a video someone posted on YouTube that has the EXACT same problem as I have. But I have a heavy duty starter that works fine.

I had no noise
it was the starter issue that brought forward the issue

Turns out a valve was very loose. And the noise carried down the back of the motor to the torque converter. She’s sounding awesome again.
