Front end/ 4x4 help
I have a 1991 4x4 s-10 blazer that has a worn out front end? Thats whata local autoguy told me, It wont drive in four wheel drive at all, just grinds, two wheeldrives fine though. It honestly looks like the frontdrivers wheel is about to fall off because of the crazy angle it is leaning inward on.Am I going to have to buy a whole new front axle and swap it out? If so were can I get one and how mush is this going to run? Thanks a bunch!

RE: Front end/ 4x4 help
I'd start with that front end and get that corrected then go from there. Doubt that'll fix the 4wd but ...As far as the 4wd manual? Does it light steady/solid on the floor shifter? Grind at that point? Slip shaft lock in? We'll all try to help you with more info. JP[:@]

RE: Front end/ 4x4 help
The indicator light is actualy broken but you can get the lever into 4x4 with some difficulty, once its in 4x4 and you hit the gas to go, it makes this mega loud grinding noise and it stops the truck, almost like some gear in the differential is grinding.
