Return line has little pressure. If the truck runs fine it probably is the return. I would figure out which one is the return and replace it with rubber fuel line. Dont have to replace the whole thing, just a section

i run into issues like this with brake lines. no need to get at the old one, just run the new one next to it or where ever you can

Not on his tbi engine. us with the 92+cpi,or vortecs (96+) has these. just not tbi. they have 2 big lines with big nut fittings.

op i believe the passenger side one is the return. Dont bypass this line, you can bypass some of it to get past the leak, then plum it,but dont delete the return.
