93 Blazer won't stay on
We own a '93 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4.3L "W" series. After several months of the truck idling rough it finally died out last week. The truck would start after several attempts but idled so rough it woulddie out after a 1minute or 2. We also heard a very loud rattling/grindng noise coming from under the truck. We started our journey of repair by reading the engine codes. Codes flashed, 32, 37, & 43. EGR valve, something with the transmission, and ECM?
So far we replaced the IAC valve, new distibutor cap & rotor, spark plugs, pcv valve, ECM module, cleaned out theEGR valve, and installed a new catalytic converter. Good news is the truck now runs great. Smoother than it's ever ran before. Bad news is it won't stay on. Once truck is turned on, it immediately turns right back off unless you constantly give it gas. We checked the engine codes again and only get the standard 12 flash. We've found that once we disconnect/unplugthe PCV valve the truck stays on and drives great. However I don't think we're supposed to be driving it like that. We're completely out of ideas on what to try next. I'd be grateful for anyone that has any suggestions.

I'd say try another new PCV valve. They're cheap enough...

make sure nothing is blocking the passage through the hose. make sure all your vacuum hoses are connected.

Well, we checked hoses and there doesn't seem to be any type of obstruction or vacuum leak anywhere. We put in a new PCV valve buttruck still won't stay running. We are beginning to think it might be a problem with something in the fuel system since truck does stay running when you give it gas but dies when idling. Anymore more suggestions?
