Default RE: 4WD NOT WORKING BY PUSH BUTTON

Step #1 - fix your CAPS lock...

When you say it stuck in, did you pick the vehicle off the ground and see if the front driveshaft was still being turned by the transfer case? An engaged front axle does not mean that the transfer case is still engaged. If unhooking the vacuum line caused the system to go into 2HI it sounds like you may have a faulty vacuum switch on the transfer case which may cause the indication of it still being in 4wd, but not result in the front axle actually being powered.

Sorry about the caps lock.No i did not lift front end but very hard to turn kinda like having no power steering but i know power steering is working.and as soon as i disconnect vaccum hose it steers fine.almost for got this done on dry ground.if i replace the transfer case switch "the one onthe t-case with 3 vaccum lines coming out of it" this will be the 3rd time in a year and last one i changed seemed fine but the first one i changed the ball on the in side was stuck.i'm not sure what to do next.thank for help .
