Yep its there, but it already has a hose hooked to it just like this one. I was thinking this may be the front diff vent, but the vacuum it was drawing threw me off.

its definitely not the diff vent. Look behind your engine, passenger side of the distributor. you'll see a T,and a bunch of lines etc that plugs into your manifold. any capped off or missing?

There is a tee off the back of the manifold. It has four small hoses coming off of it. None plugged or missing, haven't traced them all out yet, got stuck on this one. This all started looking for the cause of rough idle of course.

I'll try to chase it out and see where it ends. when I put my thumb over it it draws a really slow vacuum, unlike the brake booster hose that can give you a pretty bad red spot. I've searched diagrams till I'm cross eyed and had no luck identifying it yet.

Is there anything else on the passenger side it could go to?

do you have a vacuum line running to your 4wd actuator under the battery tray?
