need help on transfer case vacum lines

Default need help on transfer case vacum lines

I found a loose vacum line on my 93 s10 blazer 4.3l. where is the vacume line go that runs twords the front. Once i pulled the skid plate off of mine i found a loose melted connection. all i see is a Y connect. and some hose going twords the grill. thanx.

if there on the driver side, could be going to your EVAP canister that is under the air box, looks like a coffee can. On your front crossmember/raditor support there should be a sticker with a diagram of the vacuum lines.

^^^ummm..........no.

fan shroud has engine routing, nothing else.


there are 3 lines running from your t-case, up the passenger side of the transmission, and into the vacuum plumbing of the truck. and 1 runs up to the vacuum diaphram under the battery tray. (which is what actually engauges your front diff, to have 4WD)

ya cause if your looking at the evap canister at the outlets all hoses are there besides the far left and it has a slip cap on it. seems like something should be there from my experiance with 2wd's but theres more outlets. im looking under that battery tray next.

hey old skool, that wasnt it, its the other hose that runs forward. could it be the far left outlet on the evap canister. i just found a little slip cap on it. i dont see why they would have an outlet with no hose attached. sounds like it was just rigged up to me.
