Default parts compatablity

ok i have an 88 s10 blazer 4x4 2 dr. my father in law just used most the front clip off a 91 or 92(we dont know the exact year but the door tag has a date of 10/91 on it) 4dr 4x4 that hes gunna let me raid for parts. the parts i want for sure are teh windsheld, front and back seats, drivers side fender and both front doors. i know there were a few cosmetic changes in the first gen blazers but would all that fit the 2 door blazer?

A 91 or 92 is also a first gen. Second gen was 95+,

If you look on LMC, you will see if the parts you need will bolt right up as they give year ranges for everything.

I am fairly certain that the back seats will not fit. I cannot remember how they are setup in a 1st gen, but the 2nd gen back seats are quite different.

if my memory is correct, the doors on a 2dr are longer than a 4dr (fronts) be sure b4 you go thru all that work.

in the 1st gens i have had (86,88,91,93 typhoon and my current 94) the back seats are different in 2 and 4dr models 2dr has room for 2 in the back with armrest, zip up storage area and 6x9 speaker on either side but the 4dr rear seat is wider and has room for 3 with a fold down armrest in the center, you may be able to remove the armrest and zipper storage area on the sides to make the 4dr seats work I dont know never tried it myself, also i never measured so I dont know if they bolt down the same or if that is different as well. One more thing, 2dr has a lever on the pass side to fold rear seat down whereas my 4dr has lever in the middle on the back of the seat to fold it down. Just some things to check out before you go through the work of taking them out.
