Quick 4x4 question.

Quick 4x4 question.
What fuse do I pull to reset the computer that controls the 4x4?
I have been pulling the battery cable the night before I know I will need 4x4 for a while but then need to reset the radio.

RE: Quick 4x4 question.
Look for a 4wd fuse... I do not have my references with me at work to be sure, but that is what it is in most of the other s-series trucks.

RE: Quick 4x4 question.
Found the post I remembered.
Turn OFF the ignition.
Remove the 10amp CTSY LP from the I/P fuse block, and the 20amp ATC fuse from the underhood fuse block.
Important:Replacing the fuse before the specified time may result in not clearing the DTCs.
Wait a minimum of 60seconds before replacing the fuse. Once the fuse is replaced DTC1 will be set in the transfer case shift control module.
Cycle the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN and back OFF five times in order to clear DTC1 from the transfer case shift control module memory.

RE: Quick 4x4 question.
I only have the TCCM fuse to pull in my '92. Worked perfect.

RE: Quick 4x4 question.
For the 1st gens with the push button transfer case control (NV233), the thread below covers the bases pretty well:
transfer case / encoder motor switch
For the codes:
OBD2 Non-Automatic Transfer Case Diagnostic
