Spider Injection to TBI injection conversion

Spider Injection to TBI injection conversion
Hey all new here to the forum and I am currently working on a 94 Blazer 4X4 LTtahoe 4.3 VIN W bought it for $400 with a bent connecting rod and working on rebuilding a fresh 4.3 for it and was thinking about converting the injection to get away from the spider injection.
Well can it be done?
I know I would need the following
Intake manifold for TBI
TBI with sensors
maybe TBI fuel pump or pressure regulator
Would the stock ECM work?
Intake gaskets the same or different?
Heads same or differnt?
Thanks

I believe the heads and intake manifold bolt pattern are different between TBI and CPI. The stock wiring harness definetly would not work neither would the ECM. You'd need a harness and ECM from a TBI truck

Head bolt pattern changed in 96. You should be able to swap to TBI. The wiring, computer, etc will need to be changed over.

I may try to do this with junkyard parts later on. right now just trying to get it running.

I am doing something similar. I have a wrecked 1994 Blazer / 4.3 Cpi Vortech that I am putting into a 1991 Blazer 4.3 TBI but I am keeping the TBI. I have read everything I could find and as far as I can tell all 4.3 ingines are almost identicle up until 1996 and you can"t pay no attention to the plastic Vortech valve covers because they"ll fit the older heads. The high flow real Vortech heads did"nt come out on the 4.3 until 1996 and they do have a different intake bolt pattern.

Joey1975, you have everything you need for an easy swap.
SlydinClyde, why go throuh the hassle of getting it running, and then changing over the top end later? you do realize there's more in the W code, than the Z? before you say it, i know the sensors and W code related parts are more than the Z engine, but you're looking at a bigger deal to swap everything over. gonna need a truck that no one has f**k'd around with the wiring harness for starters.
