Default Timing issue after intake gasket replacement

Hi all, I replaced the intake gasket(for egr purposes...the ports were clogged solid) I got the motor back together and driving though I have a rough idle. When cold it feels as if the motor is just slightly idling low(power steering is tight unless I rev it, brakes are harder to push and much more sensitive(I can send myself through the windshield with barely a push) I assume that's due to low vacuum in the brake booster, and it almost wants to die..the exhaust has a put-put to it. Drive it for 4-5 minute and get it up to temp and she runs good and barely has a rough idle. Any ideas? With the advance wire unplugged and set to 0* it has a slight miss...1* of advance or so corrects it and runs good until I plug it back in. Kinda weird right? I also have a coolant leak somewhere. I'm hoping it's not the intake gaskets.. I'm pretty sure I torqued it correctly but who knows. Any suggestions on what to try?? Someone said IAC could be bad.. Not sure if that's a possibility?
