Default Why are my ABS light and E Brake light on?

I was driving my truck other night and all of a sudden the ABS light , E Brake, and other brake light came on, and I was at a lost. My brakes are working fine and stopping great. iwas told it was possibly a sensor going bad, where could I locate it at and how hard is it to change out ?

if its anything like the second gen then the sensor is on the back of the hub (4x4) and you need to take the wheel off to get to it...not hard at all.

did you check your brake fluid?

Check you brake fluid. Sometimes a high concentration of moisture in your brake fluid will cause your brake sensors to light up your brake warning lights. you can flush your brake system or, use a sucker bulb , like a turkey baster and suck all the dirty old brake fluid out of your master cylinder. Then top it back off with fresh brake fluid. Yeah I know it doesn't get all of the old fluid out of the system. Then drive around normally and repeat the suck and fill method next weekend. The way I see it, some clean fluid is better than no clean fluid.

if the abs and e-brake lights are on at the same time while driving then it could be your abs module going out...thats what it is on my '03 2wd...idk what u drive

*also could be caused by different (staggered) sized tires front to back or leakin around brake pressure switch(under brake master cylinder)

I saw tis right when I bought mine. The 50a fuse that was for the abs was in the wrong spot. Moved it to the right spot. Lights went off. I think they did it to shut off the abs because a wheel speed sensor is bad and activates the abs at low speeds.
