00 blazer water in oil

Question 00 blazer water in oil

00 blazer I have water in the oil. How do I know If the head gasket is blown? Ive heard about the intake manifold gasket going bad.

Leakdown test will tell you. Not sure 'bout a simple compression test.

i just had mine do that if it was the head gasket it would be smoking real bad but if not its the intake gasket i just had to replace the manifold gasket it costed like 600 to fix at the dealership

The Vortec V6 is notorious for blowing the cheap factory installed intake manifold gasket, at least those in the '00-'01 year range,probably more. My 2001 blew coolant all over the engine compartment when it went.
