1999 zr2 blazer fuel pump access hole
i replaced my fuel pump this past monday and drove my blazer about 5 miles. everything seemed fine. it just sat in the yard and i started it about day to make sure everything seemed to be working. a buddy of mine had a camper given to him and he needed something to take it home with so i told him to take the blazer. he came over and got it, everything was fine. went and got the camper and took it to his house. about a 40-50 mile total trip. he went to move the blazer later that evening and it wouldnt start. i went over the next morning and checked it out and it appears that the fuel pump is bad AGAIN! i dont know how this is possible, but i am not wanting to have to drop the tank on this thing again so i have decided that im going to make an access hole in the cargo area so i can change the pump. has anyone done this before and if so can you offer any tips? thanks, ian

As I replied last week to another member, it's been done by a couple of people here. Try the 'search' function for pump+access+panel or pump+access+hole, etc.
