2000 Blazer LS
#1
So I got my Jimmy running with no issues and here is my new project.
2000 Chevy Blazer 4.3 4x4 178k miles auto trans, I believe im the 3rd owner.
Bought it from a friend $500, was a farm truck. They said it had an electrical issue and wouldn't drive home, jumped it off started it right up and drove it home and around town for a couple days. Shifting was a lil hard so i replaced the 1-2, 3-4 shift solenoids, trans filter/fluid and gasket. Put everything back together, when I put it in gear it would barely move and now it wont move at all. Starts right up just wont go in gear, I can move the shifter all the way to L1, have no gears whatsoever. I've read that sometimes the valve to the shift solenoid gets stuck open? not sure where to go.
Taking the transmission pan off again today to see if theres anything I can do.
any and all info is greatly appreciated.
Also i will be doing head gaskets and all upper gaskets starting next month.
This Blazer is gonna be for my mom so I gotta get it running like new asap.
