Default 2001 s-10 ls 2 door blazer encoder

no 4x4 removed bat replaced actuator.
good vacuum pressure
pulled on cable wouldn't move
have power to the encoder plug.
jacked up car turned on engine power to rear wheels.
pushed 4x4 button front wheel drive shaft was engaged.
at this point I think the encoder is bad
went to order the part but the tech parts guy said the rectangle 2 prong plug is for all wheel not 4x4 button where could I find info for this part number on the car? the part has no id on it.
thanks

The front driveshaft engaging proves the encoder motor is working. I'd investigate the stuck cable.

update
the front differential was toast which I was hoping was not the case but since i drove it from tucson az to pdx oregon It was a miracle I made it all, so since I had to tear the front end apart i rebuilt everything front differential new front bearings, new transfer case vacuum, new encoder and switch and new actuator, I now have no vacuum to the actuator, all the lights on the push button 4x4 work and stay solid

Did you program the new encoder to the tccm?

The last step for replacing an encoder motor is to program it to the tccm. On my 2000 3-button system:

Remove the 10 amp ctsy lp (courtesy lamp) fuse for 5 minutes.

Replace fuse.

Cycle the ignition switch off, run, off. 5 times.

pulled the fuse as stated above still 4x4 but there is a clicking sound in the tccm all the push button lights come on and stay solid thru the processs think the tccm is toast?
