Nylon Fuel Lines, Such A Thing!!!
Hello. After an exhaustive diagnostic on my 95 with a long morning start condition I discovered a rusted weeping fuel line. It is the line from the filter to the tank. With incredible luck was able to disconnect the line from the old spectra hanger undamaged from the rubber hose connection section. I would really like to use a one piece without the GM rubber intermediate.
Could this be possible using nylon, which by the way I just today discovered existed.
Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated. National places that will fab. it.
What and were to buy the stuff to fab it myself. This is all young people voodoo to me.
Thanks Sooo much!!!!

Yea, no kiddin' seems like 18" or 100' and nothing inbetween. Dorman has fittings made especially for the nylon line, has a barb on each end. Might check with an auto parts store, (and I don't mean advance or AZ). Probably have to check with NAPA. They might have a bulk roll of it.

Good Morning! Since I am doing this little project with the tank in place due to having the good luck of a completly full fuel tank I managed to brake this vent nipple.

Would very much like to not address this untill I'm not flying heavy.
Not having a full understanding of the evap system will thise cause drivability issues?
Thank's!

No driveability issues, but you may notice a fuel odor. EVAP captures and stores fuel vapor in the vapor canister when the engine is off. When it's running, under certain circumstances, the canister is purged and the vapors are burned.

Great thanks. I also found a Guy that makes a complete nylon setup for GM's. Going a diffrent way but its kind of cool. Printed out a picture of it and showed it some brake and line guys around here and they were very intrested as to where he got the particuler conecction to the gm filter. It has been a problem. I found them in a Dorman product. Bought one local to fix my issue, going to get another on the net for myfuel pressure gage. Anyway heres the link for the guy with the nylon fix.
