Default 96 4x4 blazer overheating

I got my blazer as a gift so I don't mind investing some money to get it repaired. It leaks coolant, I did remove the radiator cap and noticed bars leaks had been used. I have no idea where the leak is coming from. Radiator? Hoses? It's almost as if its not getting pumped. If I fill the coolant a day later it will need more. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm to the point of buying a new radiator, hoses and water pump.

is it leaving ANY puddles ANY WHERE? if you arent seeing anything on the ground, then it might not be leaking water. it might be USING water. which is worse obviously. i would pull the skid plate off the BOTTOM, not the one just behind the bumper, but the one that shields the front diff and oil pan and all that. you need that front one for whatever reason. like i was saying, i would take that bottom plate off and drive it around the block a few times to get it up to temp. then park it and leave it running. make sure that its not going to over heat on you, and then start looking around on the ground and in the engine bay. you might see something. you have to find out if its leaking or using before you start throwing parts at it. otherwise it gets REALLY expensive in VERY short amount of time.
