Default 97 blazer FLOOR SHIFT... need shifter cable!

i have a 97 blazer 4 door automatic 4x4 w/ the floor shifter and i need a shifter cable. i just had my mechanic swap in a transmission and the cable was damaged during the process, and apparently the only place to get a new shifter cable is the stealership(it was like $110). i don't want a new one really, but none of the junkyards have it, or they aren't willing to sell just the cable. i went to a u-pull-it yard and they had like 20 blazers/jimmys, but they were ALL column shift. i called a few yards and my mechanic called a few yards with no luck. ebay has NONE that will work, same with amazon, and rockauto only sells the column shift. autozone and advance auto don't carry any. car-part doesn't list the cable and i've tried a parts locating service with no luck. and NO, i don't want to convert it to a column shift.

pretty ridiculous that nobody sells this part. i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get one, hopefully used. i would have posted a "want to buy" ad in the classifieds, but i guess i don't have enough posts to do that. i'm in the detroit area and can pick it up if you have one locally(or i can paypal you and have it shipped), or if you know of someplace that sells them online let me know.

Do you have the PN from the dealer? If so, see what the cost is through GMPartsDirect.com or through Parts4Chevys.com.

The floor shifts aren't very common from what I have seen. Our 97 Blazer 4x4 has a floor shift. I have looked at several over the last two years & seldom see floor shifters.

i got the part number by calling the stealership, 15713353. gmpartsdirect ended up being $80.xx after their shipping fee and charging me NC tax even though i live in michigan, parts4chevys was around $80 as well after shipping, but i ended up getting it at sdparts.com for $77.xx shipped. still sucks because this is a $5 part at the junkyard and that would have been perfect for me.
