Default electrical help please

I've got a 99 blazer that the battery lite is on, the water temp gauge isn't working, fuel gauge stopped altogether, 4x4 indicator lites are out and 4x4 will not engage at all, I've checked the battery and alternator and changed both, it still does the same thing. Does anyone have or had this problem, that could point me in the right direction? Thanks, Clint

check all your fuses.

had a similar problem on a 83 blazer... couldnt hurt to try. look under the dash towards the front bottom by the driverside door. on my truck there was a ground wire that went to a screw right there that came loose and was making all my gauges read wrong. spent weeks trying to fix it and ran across that while looking for something else.

i'm open to any suggestions right now, i also did a search and found some kind of noise, which mine also has at times, sounds kind of like a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle tire

I found the problem, have no clue what the 4x4 fuse has to do with the battery lite and other gauges not working right, but the fuse was blown
