Fuel Pump??
Ok I have ried looking all over the net for an answer but think that you gurus would give me a better answer than what I have come up with. Ok here is the issue. I had to go to the hospital late Thrursday night and when I came out I got a crank no start on my 2001 Blazer Xtreme 4.3. I checked all the fuses and relays that I could with what I had and everything checked out. I tried to listen for the fuel pump but couldnt hear it do its initial hum when the key is turned on.....Well I end up sleeping in the truck that night cause everyone I knew to come get me was either asleep or busy. So fast forward to 7am (6hrs later) I wake up and decide to listen to the radio while I try to find someone to come and get me. Out of curiosity I turn the truck over and she starts...I hop in the seat and she takes me 50 miles home with no issues. I get home and turn her off and go back to start her and bam....crank no start.....So this morning for grins and giggles I try to start her and she starts.....so my question is. Is my fuel pump on its way out? I dont want to be stranded and I am scared to drive the truck in fear of being left somewhere.
Thanks ahead of time for any help!!

How many miles are on your Blazer? The factory pumps seem to go out anywhere from 160k to 180k miles but thats not written in stone.
Next time it does it, open the gas cap and listen while someone turns on the key.
