Hi,

Recent purchase,99 chevy blazer, 4 spd auto, 4.3 V6, 214k mi.

Trying to diagnose a buzzing noise coming from under dash.

The buzzing noise only appears when vehicle is in gear either Rev, Fwd.

Does this vehicle have automatic door lock when trans is engaged?

If so, is there a relay that could be bad that is causing this buzz?

Update:

Found the culprit.......... pcv was making noise and transmitting
into cabin via cable. Cable is anchored so, had to use a longer piece of
hose between pcv and tube to reposition it.

Afterward, I searched the forum and found it a common problem.

Good to know there is a fix for this annoyance.
