Bogging down when at idle/ Rough Idle solution
New here,
Just wanted to possibly help someone concerning bogging down when at idle, or a very rough idle. I first noticed this problem in December. I started my blazer up (97 4x4) and it would idle fine for one second then cut out and over/under rev itself. To the point where it would shake the whole car. Like it was going to stall almost. The problem was the PCV line, I know on mine It had pretty severe rotting and you could hear it sucking air. I simply replaced with fuel hose conected both ends and it ran like a gem. Have not had a problem sence. To where this is located is behind the TB, on the drivers side of the engine, you can find the line simply by looking for the PCV, which is set in the engine. The old line runs partly under the TB, the faulty piece is a L shaped plastic piece with the rubber boots and fitting being the issue. Hope this helps!
