Can't program keyless entry 2000 Blazer
I can't get the car to go into the program mode. Here are the steps I followed:
Got in, shut all doors
Put the key in the ignition in the off position
Held down the unlock button
Turned the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF quickly
Released the unlock button
Nothing happened
Am I doing it wrong?
If not, what is the next step.
Is there a general reset for the receiver?
Where is it located?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Can't program keyless entry 2000 Blazer
Here is my response to another thread entitled OEM Remote which may be of some help (it also links to a few other threads on the subject). The keyless entry fob thread has quite a bit of information in it as well. If you cannot get it into program mode and you do have an RKE module, I would check your fuses to make sure that something isn't blown. If everything is good, then you may have to get the dealer to initiate the programming of the fob (some vehicles are finicky...).
