2005 Jimmy not switching in/out of 4WD
My 2005 Jimmy will not reliably switch in/out of 2-hi/4-hi. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes I hearit buzz-click but need to push the button a second time, sometimes I get blinking lights and sometimes nothing happens at all.
My relative (licensed mechanic) replaced the electic motor found under the vehicle, but the problem seems to be in the multi-wire plug that is located to the right of the front passenger's feet, behind the plastic panel. I'm told that the tiny spring-loaded contacts in the plug are prone to over-heating, curling back and losing contact. When the 2WD/4WD acts up, the solution is to un-plug/re-plug and/or wiggle the plug. This gets things working every time, that is until the next time it acts up again!!!!
Anybody have any suggestions... please....? Thanks!

So you remove the connection to the relay and it fixes the problem? Could you snap a picture of the component you are disconnecting?
