Dash - Parking - Tail lights "Out of Service"
New member, first post. Forum looks very good. 1998 Blazer LS w/ V6
Pulled into work one morning after sunrise, so the DRL headlights were on.
Turned off engine and removed key. The front parking and tail lights were ON. Messed with ignition switch and key, lights went OFF. The key lock cylinder has problems. Came out from work and the battery was dead. Hooking up jumper cables the lights came back ON before inserting key. This went on for two days.
Hooked the battery back up on the third day, no lights came ON. YEA! That night, started the engine and no lights came ON. Five days later and a new key lock cylinder, still no front parking or tail lights turn ON. The instrument panel is also dark.
The clock and overhead temp and compass displays are ON when the DRL lights are ON. When the main headlamps turn on at dusk, these displays turn OFF. The emergency flashers, brake lights and turn signals work fine. The headlight switch only keeps the main headlights ON after dark, and will not turn them ON during daylight.
So far the fuses and the relays check out, by swapping out relays.
Also, AutoZone wiring Diagram 15 (attached) calls out Fuse 34 @ 20 AMP and PARK LIGHT RELAY. Can't find them in the side panel fuse box nor in the box under the hood. Where are these items located?
Any ideas as to the reason behind the temperamental lights?

I do not see numbers on the fuse/relay panel, only test names. Were is relay #19 located?
The back of my headlight switch has this connection.

Can anyone provide a drawing and description for the headlight switch connections?
