When you turn the key to run, if you don't start it right away, you should hear the pump cycle, as long as your window or door is open...

You could always try boosting the Blazer, lol.

It could also be coincidental fuel pump failure... AsI understand it, the pump isn't always a long life product on these things...

Cannot hear pump cycle, I laid under fuel tank and had wife put switch to RUN. Also checked pressure in line (no gauage, pressed something into valve while trying to crank, nothing came out). So, guess I will replace FP this weekend. Any advice / how -to as far as dropping fuel tank etc?

I would test for power at the pump before replacing it. Would suck to do all that work and find out that the fuse or relay failed...

When getting fuel out of tank, was reading another post stating something about a ball check valve in fill outlet, preventing siphoning. ???? Is this the case?????

Could it be anti-theft system has kicked in for some reason and disabled fuel?

Just trying to cover all bases.

Just another quick question, where is the ICM located? Passenger side of motor on top behind alternator or elsewhere?

The ICM is located between the throttle body and the passenger side valve cover. It will have a silver heat sink on it with an electrical connection. Most autoparts stores can test the coil and ICM.
