2000 chevy blazer with the 4.3. Fuel pump is 2k miles old. Battery was dead (we leave it at the ranch for a couple of months at a time). Charged the battery, drove it 30 miles. Started it today, drove it 5 miles. While driving 70 mph, it lost all power.

Observations. Fuel pump isnt humming. All fuses are good. Volt gauge works, oil, temp and gas gauges do not. It spins over with no start.

Obviously something is keeping the fuel pump from turning on, but I figured the 3 of the 4 gauges not working might be a good clue.

Where should I start?

Ignition switch, very common problem with this generation. Ignition switch often gives many of the same issues as a bad fuel pump.
