Distributor timing???
I'm about to replace the lower intake manifold gasket due to a coolant leak. I can't find any info on timing degree BTDC when I reassemble. Should I just mark the intake & dizzy & hope for the best or is there a better way? Thanks.

The intake to Dist is already marked.. with the hold down.
REMOVE ACCESSORY BELT SO YOU DONT ACCIDENTLY TURN ENGINE
Most people turn engine CW till rotor points to t eh '6' point in the dist base lip. Verify Crank timing mark.
As you lift dist STRIGHT UP.. best to note point where Rotor STOPS turning. Where you want to start when you reinstall so the rotor ends at '6'
