Door hinge

Door hinge
Does anyone know where I can find a door hinge kit? The drivers side door has dropped down about 1/4 of an inch. This is making the door hard to close since the striker is no longer ligned up correctly.
I have changed the pins and bushings on another car and this allowed me to fix the problem without having to replace the entire hinge assembly.
I's a 99 4 door.

RE: Door hinge
Hinge Pins and Bushing kits are available from any autoparts store. I would suggest you either find a friend at a body shop or buy the proper tool for the reinstallation of the hinge spring. The only place that I have been able to find the spring tool is from Eastwood.com. Specifically, Light Truck Door Hinge Spring Tool - #31202 for $15.29 +s&h. I spent the better part of 2 hours with a vice and some baling wire before I finally got the damn thing back in when I replaced the drivers door hinges on my Bravada (same body as your '99 Blazer).
Good Luck!
BTW, the hinges on the S-series pickups are not replaceable. They are welded in. Only the pins and bushings are replaceable! If they are allowed to go too far, where the holes in the hinge halves get worn... It's a pain in the **** to get it fixed...

RE: Door hinge
I bought the pins and bushings for my 2000 blazer at Pep Boys. The spring is a big b@#ch. I would say if you can get a tool to help with the spring it will be well worth it.
