I have posted this on the GMC Jimmy forum and have not got an answer of any kind. So I'm going to try here.
My son has a 1997 Jimmy and the Anit-lock brake light comes on when he starts driving. If he turns the truck off the light will go out and back on when he starts driving again. The code that comes up is C0065 Pump Motor Relay Circuit Open. Was told that the EBCM needs replaced. We are having a problem finding one. Would a salvage part be the way to go? Or where to get one? I was looking at the ABS pump and it looks like it's under the pump motor or am I looking at the wrong part?
Thanks for any help.
Jerry

C0065 correlates to 'left front sol..' according to a google search

Here's an index

Are you sure it isnt C0265?

Hmmm.. Read for yourself

I dont think GM would use same codes for two different things.

Maybe look at wiring for both.

C0065 is a fault in the left front #2 solenoid circuit, which is located inside the EBCM. If the flow chart directs you to replace the EBCM, a Google search will reveal several companies that rebuild them.

Ok I have searched and having a problem finding someone that rebuilds the 1997 model EBCM or I'm not looking in the right places. I can find allot of them that rebuild 1999-200? Something.
