Default External mirror disassembly

Does anyone know how to disassembly mirror like this:
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....NL._SX355_.jpg

Mine works fine but retracting doesn't work... I checked and power supply is ok, so everything goes to Motor So I don't want to destroy it trying to get inside. On YT noone Show anything about that mirrors other than how to replace it (simple Thing). So maybe here someone got some pics or something elese which could help to do it. I can order some used one similar to mine just to check how to disassembly it but that takes some Money i don't want to waste, and mine mirror is painted into Body colour so I can't find same one anywhere.

Does it have a built in defroster? Mine has the defroster unit and the glass went brown, tried to just get the glass removed and it turns out on the mirror with the defroster the stupid glass doesn't come off (shattered the one at the junk yard trying). However, if you don't then just take a flat head screw driver and pry the glass off. If it is like the ones I've seen you'll have as much access as you're going to get. I also believe there were some screws (3) at the bottom of the mirror on mine, but they ended up being stripped so no idea what they went to. I think they held on the rest of the mirror after the main assembly's joint, but never got to confirm.

BTW, an entire new assembly is only $20 at a scrapper. Ripped my new one off a trail blazer and it came with an auto dimmer freaken love that feature at night.

mirrors for these things are cheap, why not just get a new one? Save the time.

Here in Poland where you can't find so many Blazers... this things aren't too cheap. I found used mirrors for about 70$ or around and they not sure it will be perfectly fine. Mine booth have electric folding (which doesn't work on passenger side), electric mirror positioning and heating... and they're in Body colour (I think from factory) so I can't find new one other than black ones insteed green which I have. So... I have to Change booth for black ones (which could cost much more with full equipement including dimming for Drivers one which one works perfectly fine even if I try to get used ones in good shape).

try messing with the adjuster switch in the door first, they're common to go...

there's a thread somewhere of someone pulling the switch apart and cleaning the contacts inside and made it start working again. I need to do it to mine, the only movement mine do is inward and down lol

Take out the mirror switch and open it and clean it using contact cleaner

I did that on my car where the left and right side mirrors was not working at all. After i cleaned them they behave like new mirrors and an the adjustment switch is also working like new

If the glass is bad put on a replacement glass. I think it is glued on

I checked everything before mirror and Switch to fold mirrors is ok, I've got 12V going to mirror socket so everything works fine up to this point. Mirror Switch to adjust mirror Position works fine for booth mirrors. Only folding doesn't work for passenger side, beside that everything is ok, so if it is almost impossible to disassemble mirror in one peace is not worth trying to fix it until something more will be wrong.
