Default Fuel pump wont turn on!!!!!!!!!!!

I own a 02 Blazer ZR2 and when I go to start it the fuel pump will not engage. I just put a new fuel pump in it and it still wont turn on. I checkd the fuses and they were all straight. I put it on the computer and it read no codes. Idk what the hell is wrg with my truck. Do you think it could be an ignition switch? If so, please someone gimme some info on this situation asap.

Thanks

Hey, sounds like my Blazer. Just heard from my mechanic. Try wiggling the fuel pump relay. Sounds crazy, but it seems to be whats wrong with mine. The seat for the relay is somehow losing connectivity. Something to try anyway.

Remove the relay and install a jumper wire across the +12V and the line to the pump (look at the schematic on the relay). If the pump turns on, then try swapping the relay with another relay like it in the underhood fuse/relay box. If that does not work, then the problem is likely the ignition switch, but more testing can be done.

check your ground block under the back bumper {it just hangs there}. It has 11 wires going to it and 4 of the black ones are grounds for the fuel pump and the others are for your taillights and plate lights. take the cap off and look for corrosion if it is corroded u can get a new block or cut the wires right off and splice them all together according to color. I just put a new fuel pump in my 02 zr2 just to find out thats what it was. when i turned the key i couldnt here the fuel pump come on.
