well, i took my heads in to napa to get checked out and rebuilt. they automaticly ordered the head bolts when i called back. i forgot my list at work. i would never reuse tty bolts either. id prefer to upgrade to reusable, but thats not very cheap. and the passenger side is going to be fun to tighten accuratly. its tighter than i thought on that side

so does that mean your doing all the bolts in each sequence? not just the med for the second and long ones for the last ?

I have a 2000 blazer with a 4.3 just got done replacing the head gaskets. Now engine won't start it spends but don't seem to have compression. Checked timing and all marks are right on the money. The only thing I can think of is that I have a connector without a home. This connector has 2 wires 1 yellow and 1 black its on the drivers side and coming out of the main wiring harness. Any ideas?? HELP!

they should all just fall in to place pretty much . well atleast they do on my 97 . just keep looking. i can let you know later after i get home from pulling mine apart

it comes out of the main wiring harness, it's not part of the air filter system nor throttle body. It's closer to the driver's side as you can see on the picture.

I had to go to the GM dealer to get the correct sequence and torque for mine, but my son has the specs right now. You do start out with 22Ft.Lbs first round, but the second and third rounds you will need a Degree Tool for this 2001 the Model, so be carful about where you get your info. The specs have changed on the later models. Also GM recommends that you replace the Head Bolts with new ones for this Model.
