Replacement pwr, heated, dimming side mirror?
Seems that almost over-night the driver's side mirror has become foggy in spots. From reading I have found the only repair is replacement.
Soooo....where does one find replacement heated, power, auto dimming, foldable side mirrors at....other than from GM that is???
Have found several sites, but none have the dimming feature.
Anyone know about K Source, part number 62038G? No info if this one has dimming or not.
Thanks

Dear Mr. LannyL81
I just noticed your post regarding your outside driver's side mirror turning, well...yucky.
Mine just did that and after trying to find a mirror I found a company that sells a light sensitive mirror glass that you glue on over the original one. Price is $21.95 plus shipping. Original GM parts are outrageous, as if they want to discourage the public from purchases. Where I live it really looks like GM is slowly circling the drain by how they treat customers. Anyway, sorry about being so late in my reply but I just found out about this a couple of days ago. I have not purchased this mirror yet mainly since I cannot glue it on in sub zero temperatures where I live.

Refurbished mirrors
Went to discountautomirrors.com and bought drivers side and passenger side mirrors electric and heated. Both for around $53.00. They were GM part# and they look and fit perfectly. Don't know if they had your type but it's worth the look

I ended-up just getting a new mirror through RockAuto.com, non light sensitive though...could not ever find a 100% replacement.
I think I checked out discountmirrors.com but decided to go with the RockAuto part; ebay has mirrors as well, for cheaper, but I did not want to get junk stuff.
I removed both mirrors, cleaned, primed and painted both so they looked the same. The replacment one fit perfect and is working fine. Do not really miss the light sensitive or auto dimming feature much.
Good luck with yours.
