Ignition wires

Default Ignition wires
I am attempting to install a remote start system but having some difficulties with it. I believe I have the hot wire to the ignition correct but I am not sure. There are two hot wires it seems though a red one and red with white stripe.

Are they both hot or is one of them conditional?
