Muffler split in two, flooded?
Been cold lately so it takes a few attempts to start up. But I'm not sure what to do now.
I believe it flooded itself, when it doesn't start the first time I re-cycle the ignition and I think the re-primes the fuel each time and I think that's where the flood came from. I continued to crank and then my muffler blew.
How do I un-flood this thing without pulling the plugs? Assuming it's still flooded. Are there any dangers in trying to continue to turn it over in it's current state?

With old carb'ed engines, the way to clear a flooded engine was to hold the gas pedal to the floor, and crank until it fires. I believe I've read the same is true for our trucks, the TPS sees the WOT position, and the computer adjusts accordingly.

Even if it does start up it's gonna be loud now. I'd rather be on foot until I can save up for something else.
