New connectors? TC positions
I am considering replacing my transfer case motor electrical connectors (NV236) when I replace my transfercase motor, has anyone had luck getting them from a Chevy dealer?
I have already removed the transfer case motor while I wait for the new one and have the connectors sealed up to prevent dirt and damage to them, I have a 1999 Blazer service manual and have been a mechanic for many years but mostly on 2wd cars.
I removed it while I am still driving it because the shift motor will not go back on, it is locked up and could not get it back on they way the shift motor is oriented/locked up, must have locked up between shift points. (Was blowing fuses until I unplugged it) Also I wanted to be able to manually shift the transfer case into 4wd if I got stuck in the snow, or in case of blizzard, call me an optimist because I do not even know if it will work.
Does anyone know what the postions of the shifter notch should be on the side of the transfer case, IE: 4HI is 12 oclock, Neutral is 10oclock, 2HI is 2 oclock?
Just thought I would ask, thanks in advance, I almost always find my needed info from this website just by searching but did not this time.

Try one of these. I saved them on my favorites. If you know the GM number you can do a search by that and get all kinds of responses.
