Which pins to jumper?

Default Which pins to jumper?

I have a 95 Blazer LT and was wanting to know which pins do I jumper to get codes.

If your 1995 has a 16 pin connector, the vehicle is equipped with OBD1.5 and you can not jumper pins on OBD1.5 systems, (late production 1995). You must use a scan tool capable of communicating with your PCM. It requires a unique software in the scan tool.

Thank you for the replies. I talked to the mechanic that I take my cars to when I can't figure it out myself, and he said the same thing. I need a scan tool for it. I have a scan tool, but it will only do 98 and later.

OBDII protocol was standardized in 1996, so if your scan tool works on 1998, it will communicate with 1996 & newer. The OBD1.5 was a mid year transition to OBDII. As a result, it requires special software to communicate with it.
