Default 4 core radiator application?

im thinking about installing an electric radiator fan into my 98 blazer, but from the research that i've done i hear it's not good to do this with a 4 core radiator application.

so my question is this- What exactly is a 4 core radiator application, and how can i find out if i have one on my truck already or not?

Default RE: 4 core radiator application?

A 4-core radiator is a radiator constructed with 4 rows of coolant passages to distribute the coolant from one tank to the other. They are made for extra, or quicker cooling of the engine coolant for heavy-duty applications. Usually seen in heavier trucks like 3/4 or 1-tons. None of these trucks (s-10 blazers) have a 4-core radiator.
