Default Problems with bogging down and hesitation.

I have a 1997 blazer and it has a tendency to bog down when i take off when i first start to drive or when i start to drive from a stop light or sign. Other than that it runs fine and when it doesnt bog down i have great start offs and acceleration. Have any ideas?

OK it looks like i found the source of the problem (atleast on mine) My engine light was on so i took it to advance and it said my map sensor is bad and my vehicle speed sensor, so im gonna replace those one at a time and see what happens.

It also has a tendency to make a popping noise from the hood of the car when i give it a lot of gas, like if i pull out in front of a car. i was wondering if anybody would know what that was also. thanks
